How We Document

Why our case studies look different.

Most case studies are marketing fiction — bold percentages without a denominator, "since we started" timeframes that conveniently start from a low point, anonymous "Fortune 500 client" attribution that you can't verify. We document outcomes the way a research team would.

Real data sources only

Every metric we publish is pulled from named, first-party data sources. No agency-internal "tracking dashboards" with proprietary scoring. No vague aggregations across clients. If we report a number, you can ask us to show you where it came from.

Defined comparison windows

Every percentage change cites the exact comparison window: "90-day window vs prior 90 days," "30-day rolling average," "month-over-month." We don't use "since we started" because that hides the baseline. We don't compare apples to oranges.

AI citation tracking, not vanity

Where we report ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overview citations, we use actual citation tracking — not "we showed up once for one query." AI visibility is measured monthly with growth trends, not one-time screenshots.

Client review and approval

Every published case study gets explicit written sign-off from the client on the metrics, the quote, and the use of their name. If you see it on this site, the person attributed has approved it. If a client doesn't want to be public, we don't anonymize them and pretend — we just don't publish it.
